Open your cosmetics

Use /pp to open the available particle controls. Your account needs access to the effect and its style; a menu entry being visible does not necessarily mean it is unlocked.

An effect determines what particles look like. A style determines how they appear around you or respond to an action. Some effects also have data choices such as color or material.

Build a look

Start with one subtle effect and preview it while moving. Check it in the places you actually use, including interiors. Multiple large effects can make it harder to see a shared build or activity.

Use the menu's active-particle controls to remove or change an effect. If a combination does not appear, check access to both its effect and style and whether the current area allows it.

Particles are visual cosmetics. They do not grant flight, protection, or a skill bonus. For text and emoji cosmetics, see tag items.
