Make a safe starting point

1. Read the rules and look around the arrival area for destinations and instructions.
2. Find somewhere you are allowed to build. Existing claims and protected public areas are not free building space.
3. Build a shelter and save a home.
4. Use a golden shovel to claim your land. Check the outline covers your whole build.
5. Protect important containers with locks.

Build up your supplies

Choose a job that fits what you already enjoy. Check its paid actions before planning an income source. Your skills progress separately from job levels.

When gathering wood, start with a healthy axe and stand clear of the falling tree. Keep spare food and basic tools at home so you can return after a death.

Open up the world

Click waystones you discover so they become available for future travel. Carry a warp scroll when exploring, and keep enough inventory space for loot.

Before spending savings, compare auction listings with player shops. Check item details and whether a displayed price covers one item or a bundle.

Find the community

Join Discord for announcements. Try fishing, minigames, or a shared build once you have a dependable home. If you die, follow the AngelChest recovery guide.
