Decorating with armor stands

Set up your display

Place an armor stand on land where you can build. Equip it with the armor or items you want to showcase. Leave space to interact without accidentally hitting a nearby stand or container.

Armor-stand editing tools let you adjust poses and presentation when you have access. Use the server's editor instructions or tool prompt for the available controls; different editors use different interaction tools, so an arbitrary command copied from another server may not apply.

Work in small changes

Choose one body part or property, make a small adjustment, and inspect the pose from multiple sides. Keep a note or screenshot of an important arrangement before making large changes.

Equipment and ownership

Decorative equipment is still valuable equipment. Protect the area and check who can interact with the stand. A pose editor is not permission to change someone else's display.

Vehicle models and shelf displays have their own interactions. Do not try to edit a vehicle as though it were a decorative armor stand.
